Nikki's Story
Hey! My name is Nikki Le and I’m a registered dietitian specializing in solving IBS tummy troubles, such as uncomfortable bloats, gas, diarrhea and constipation. I offer a clear step-by-step solution to help you find relief from your symptoms and get clear on food triggers, so you can feel like yourself again while loving your food.
Here's a little bit about me and why I'm so passionate about nutrition. When I was 13 years-old, my grandmother was suddenly diagnosed with kidney failure. She needed peritoneal dialysis, medication, proper nutrition, and was told to go on a renal diet. At the time, my family had just immigrated to Canada from Vietnam for about 2 years. As newcomers, my parents had to work hard to support our family, and I naturally assumed the role of a caregiver. Becoming a caregiver at such a young age was challenging and I had no idea how to take on this big task. Fortunately, we had a great team of clinicians to help us navigate every step of the way. With the guidance of a renal dietitian on the team, my family and I were able to support my grandmother with the nutrition she needed to manage her condition. I became passionate about utilizing the science of nutrition as a way to prevent and combat chronic diseases for myself and those around me. As I went through my education and clinical rotations in internship, I became extremely fascinated by gastroenterology and nutrition. I’m a strong believer in the definition of health being the complete physical, mental, and social well-being, not just the absence of illness. Fostering a healthy gut is essential to mental wellness, and vice versa. As such, optimizing your gut health with food solution naturally becomes the focus of my professional practice. |
Fast forward many years, I now have a private practice that serves individuals with IBS symptoms. My goal is to empower you to take control of your health. That’s why I make it my mission to give you all the tools that will help you achieve sustainable long-term symptom management and better quality of life.

Philosophy
Food brings joy. At the basic level, food is a source of fuel that gives us the energy to live, work, and play. Food is also social, when we gather to break bread with our loved ones, and form new ties with those around us. Food is emotional, when parents feed their children, or when a meal brings you comfort and makes you feel at home.
Sadly, we live within a pervasive culture of dieting and quick fixes that has damaged the relationship with food for many of us. Many dietary approaches often focus on expensive food sensitivity testing lacking evidence, unnecessary food elimination, ingesting pills and supplements that promise a "miracle" cure for good health. With this, we lose sight of what's food means for us and our well-being.
With health and long-term sustainability being the core of my service, my hope is to improve your health, alleviate symptoms, and restore your relationship with food.
